At first I thought it was like a chain letter as well, but there was no, “*if you don’t pass this on your mother will burn in hell*” at the end, so it can’t possibly be chain mail. ;)

I generally just listen to whatever the hell I want as well, unfortunately that does mean that I have to find what I want first and then either buy it or download it. Luckily I like a wide variety of music, so I’m good.

Really it is, yeah.

But all the big dogs do it… It’s a chance for people to tune their cultural antennae and pretend that the have a highly sophisticated taste outside the mainstream.

Which I, of course, do not. I listen to whatever I feel like, which is usually what everyone else is listening to.
